I thought it was time I created an updated associate degree version of this post! I got a lot of questions about my makeup once I was in Vienna and I changed my visiting makeup product quite a bit in the last six months. So here is my latest daily makeup look. I keep my daily makeup pretty reasonable wherever I do it without compromising the overall look, so I hope you guys enjoy it!
My Top 12 Makeup Tips for Everyday Wear!
I haven’t used a primer in a long time, not long since I started skincare, so once I even have my moisturizer and/or serum applied. Just use it as a base. therefore, there is currently no makeup product in my daily face makeup. I wouldn’t go for Laura Mercier’s foundation, however, unless I’m trying to achieve a specific look, I won’t use one. For a touch of shimmer under my foundation, I would use the perfect filter from Charlotte Tilbury or Drop Shot from Urban Decay!
The one I’ve been loving lately is the LA Ladies Professional Coverage Foundation. I go between honest and warm beige tones depending on whether I am tanned or not and usually combine the two! I first tried this in September 2017 once on a cruise and it didn’t blow me away because it seemed a bit too illuminating for me – I like the daily matte look! but I bought it again to try it again a few months ago and with the right powders first of all I like it. Super coverage and long-lasting, as well as being super cheap! There are so many foundations I can name that I like, but I’d leave that in a separate post. (YSL and Urban Decay are two of my favorite foundation brands!)
Here’s another new addition to my everyday face: Catrice’s Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Waterproof Concealer! I’ve talked about this on my Instagram Stories and I love it as much as the beloved collection of concealer that I haven’t posted in years! Catrice’s is also cheaper and easier to access than the assortment. But between the two I will be able to keep them available in the shortest possible time.
I stopped using a setting powder every day and started using setting sprays and then they sent me Charlotte Tilbury’s Genius Magic Powder and I haven’t stopped since! It is a loose powder that mattifies and offers a very perfect appearance. It’s great with the foundation mentioned above! Again, this is not a surprise having talked about it and advised on Instagram lately! touch is also an extended half!
Becky, the creator of The Brow (which took home Silver at this month’s Image Awards!) once|takes care of my brows, as everyone already knows! I find that my makeup looks perfect after the associate degree date with Becky compared to once I do them myself. Once I get the task of trying to do it myself. I’m going to go with Anastasia city Brow Pomade, so Gimme Brow from Benefit!
I simply lay down a wash of any of my orange/brown shades that are within easy reach. Usually, it’s the Realgar shade from Anastasia’s city fashion Renaissance palette, or the Henna shade in the Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered Palette. Or the individual eyeshadows would be the Riff by Urban Decay or Mackintosh Uninterrupted!!
Essence Lash Aristocrat False Lash Impact War Paint is simply fabulous! I scavenged this from my stash when my beloved Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Classico war paint ran out and loved it – it doesn’t last as long as my Armani but it’s at its lowest point around the $6.99 point mark so no you can complain a lot. However, it will provide the impact of false eyelashes based on the title of the name!
Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer is my go-to daily makeup contour – you can’t go wrong with this quick and easy-to-use cool toning powder for a partnered everyday look too! I only use cream contours also when I’m going for a curated look. For every day I just go with the powder!
No wonder here, but it’s still Rockateur for my everyday makeup look. As I write this, I realize I should start changing it all the time, try and try and try} new bits because I’m forever mistreating it, so leave it to me! I usually get the blush and bronzer palette from Benefit that comes out every year, which is why I cursed Hoola and Rockateur to my head (they have a replacement this year called Cheerleader!), so I’ll try not to be tempted by this year and I start exploring alternative bits in my stash!
The Balm has always been my go-to for highlighter, whether it’s Mary-Lou Manizer or later it’s been Bonnie-Lou Manizer as it’s a bit warmer! I even caught a rumor from a fan that this complete one is being discontinued, so I’ll start trying alternative bits as I make my head every day, except now it’s this beauty!
I don’t think I’ve ever worn a lipstick well, but I’m at the top of my Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in the tete-a-tete shade because I’ve had it blonder and worn it. pretty much every day for the past few months (apart from as part of one of my weekly challenges where I wore a different lipstick every day for a week!). I try this with the matching lip liner or if I would like a touch darker I can lightly shade my lips with Rimmel Cappuccino liner.
In my daily head-to-makeup look, I don’t wear lashes, but in the photos featured in this post, I wear my favorite head-to-makeup look: SoSuBySJ in Katie’s range. To be honest I used to use them every day but I used to prolong my prep time in the mornings so I don’t bother anymore but once I have more time and when I’m out or going out at night I even have to own them!
So it’s about my head to watch late and it only takes about 12 minutes (without tabs). It happens that, without voice communication, my makeup only feels complete when I feel good about my hair, does anyone else feel like this? On my behalf, every time Romina Daniel salon gets its hands on my hair, my favorite look is complete!
