Loren Cordain, Ph.D., who literally wrote the book on The Paleo Diet, claims that by eating like our prehistoric ancestors, we will be slimmer and less prone to diabetes, heart conditions, cancer, and other health problems.

The Caveman Diet, also known as the Stone Age Diet, is a high-protein, high-fiber food method that claims to help you shed weight without cutting calories.

What You Do and Can’t Eat

Go Paleo and you’ll be eating tons of fresh lean meats and fish, fruits and vegetables, and healthier fats.

You can also eat:

  • Eggs
  • Nuts and seeds
  • Vegetable oil and copra oil are two healthier oils.

This diet prohibits the intake of processed foods. Say goodbye to wheat and dairy, as well as other grains and legumes, since our forefathers were hunter-gatherers, not farmers (like peanuts and beans). Other foods to stay away from:
