I’ll be the first to admit that I’m one of the most nosy people I know. People talking? I’m eavesdropping. Sirens by the window? I am observant. I broke a window in our accommodation, hanging out the window, spying on firefighters outside our residence. And yes, he used to be caught. This happened only a few weeks ago.
What’s In My Makeup Bag, As someone with a similar makeup routine, regardless of what I’m doing, I have this weird obsession with acknowledging what’s in other people’s makeup luggage, so I figured it would be fun to share what’s in! Mine!

What’s in My Makeup Bag!
Brushes
I only have a few makeup brushes in my arsenal – they are expensive, and I don’t have the space to have one brush per product. I have been warming up to this eye brush set and also the animal skin bag that comes with it for easy storage. For liquid makeup, I take advantage of a beauty blender (I just bought the real beauty blender, but I like these from Target!). For blush/bronzer/highlighter, I use this brush, and for setting powder, I use this one.
Palettes
I don’t usually buy palettes because, let’s be honest, but do you often use all the colors? I broke down and got this makeup palette a few months ago and have used it a lot and used pretty much every color. I also bought this pair of contours during the Sephora sale when I saw some people raving about it on Instagram and let the US state tell them it lives up to the hype.
Brow Products & Mascara
I almost refuse to leave the house without my filled-in brows and I wouldn’t be anywhere without Benefit’s Goof Proof Brow Pencil. I take colors one: light and cool blonde. As for makeup, I’m a huge fan of better than sex and lash heaven, but I recently switched to Limitless Lash makeup by Ilia, and guys – I’m never going back. Therefore, it is sensible.
CC Cream, Concealer & Setting Powder
I’ve been using the IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream for years and I don’t think I’ll ever stop. It is gentle on my skin and lasts throughout the day. I set it with this setting powder, which is semi-sheer with a hint of sheen and lasts a long time. Chose Ilia Skin Mood Concealer after trying Ilia makeup and finishing my current concealer. I appreciate how long-lasting it is without caking or creasing.
Bronzer, Blush & Highlighter
The GOODS, right? If I’m not victimizing Charlotte Tilbury’s contour pair, I take advantage of this bronzer, blush, and highlighter. You can’t go wrong with any of them and they can all be built to get the right shine.
Lips
When it comes to lipstick, I really like an honest matte berry color, and I pretty much wear all my lips equally. However, NARS Matte Lipstick in Unhealthy Lady is my favorite for everyday wear.
Makeup Bags
I’m all for a soft shell makeup bag; they’re easier to travel with and have something to say about your International Maritime Organization bag. I recently replaced my beloved Dagne State Capital toiletry bag with the Everlane Catch-All Case and I’m soft on the storage options inside and the color too.
