StrongVPN Review In (2024) Features, Pricing & More!

StrongVPN is secure, has fast browsing and streaming speeds, and offers easy-to-use apps on all platforms. While this is usually an honest start, it will lack the features. I’ve come to expect high VPNs in 2022. So ultimately I think there are other options that offer a much higher price, including ExpressVPN and Personal Internet Access.

However, StrongVPN features a smaller server network than most premium VPNs. (only 40+ countries), and it lacks some advanced security features. You might expect from a top VPN, good forward secrecy, WebRTC, and IPv6 leak protection. Associate in Nursing audited no-logs policy, and RAM-only servers. (which stores user information in memory rather than on a hard drive. Meaning all user information is erased when the system restarts).

Overall, StrongVPN is pretty sensible for streaming and torrenting. I think it’s okay to want to be a top VPN.

I’ve spent the last few weeks testing and researching StrongVPN. To imagine how it compares to the highest VPNs on the market.

StrongVPN could be a good VPN – it has fast speeds. Especially for streaming, and works with some of the highest streaming sites. It also allows P2P sharing on its more than 950 servers, Associate in Nursing, and is an obfuscation tool (Scramble).

But I think it’s okay to want to be a top VPN.

StrongVPN Features

The following industry-standard VPN security measures are available with StrongVPN:

  • AES 256-bit encryption. StrongVPN uses bank-grade encryption so your web traffic is unclear.
  • Kill switch. This feature automatically closes your Internet access. If you are disconnected from the VPN server, To protect your Internet browsing data.
  • No logs policy. StrongVPN does not store any logs of the websites you visit or the files you transfer.

StrongVPN also has DNS leak protection but still doesn’t offer the WebRTC or IPv6 leak protection which surprised me. That said, I did run multiple IPv6, DNS, and WebRTC leak tests. While connected to servers in over 10 countries and didn’t notice any leaks.

StrongVPN lets you choose from a variety of protocols, including WireGuard, IKEv2, OpenVPN, SSTP, IPSec, and L2TP. I was able to hit the lowest speeds while using WireGuard, which is one of the fastest protocols out there.

StrongVPN also includes additional options like:

  • Split tunneling (Android only). This feature allows you to exclude certain apps from your VPN association. In my tests, StrongVPN’s split tunneling function worked flawlessly and was easy to use. I streamed a movie while connected to my local network, while also taking advantage of Strong’s VPN connection to transfer a file from one of their Canadian servers. However, I would prefer to see split tunneling on additional operating systems, as it is on the market with major competitors like ProtonVPN and Personal Web Access. ProtonVPN also allows users to separate alternative elements of the tunnel, such as website data processing addresses and URLs.
  • Strong DNS. StrongVPN’s SmartDNS service allows you to access geo-restricted websites (including streaming services) with faster speeds than through a VPN. It works by dynamically positioning your location across its endpoint servers; however, even though it doesn’t encrypt your traffic, that’s what causes the lag. This is often a useful feature, but it’s not unique: Major competitors like ExpressVPNPrivate Web Access, and CactusVPN all have SmartDNS servers, and your area unit can access more streaming sites while reaching faster speeds.

StrongVPN Privacy & Security

It incorporates a strict privacy policy: it does not record your data processing address. Your data measurement, your timestamps, or your online traffic. The only personal information StrongVPN collects is your email address and payment information. Once it is set up with your account.

However, I am frustrated that StrongVPN has not conducted an independent audit of the Associate in Nursing. To substantiate their no-logs policy. I would rather see StrongVPN take this action, which is why it is more aligned with major VPNs. Like ExpressVPN and TunnelBear, which have had multiple audits done.

StrongVPN Privacy & Security Review-Itis
StrongVPN Privacy & Security

StrongVPN is based in the US and is a member of the 5/9/14 Eyes Alliance. (a group of countries that share policing knowledge with each other). This suggests that StrongVPN is needed to hand over user data if requested by the US government. Which may jeopardize your privacy. However, given their zero-logs policy, this shouldn’t be a problem because you shouldn’t have any knowledge at hand.

Generally, StrongVPN is based in the US, which is not as strict with privacy laws as some other nations, however, it is a strict no-logs policy that should keep your privacy completely safe.

StrongVPN Speed & Performance

I ran speed tests on servers in over 40 countries where StrongVPN listed a server to see their average speeds. While I saw quite a few call speeds compared to my native server. I still enjoyed good speeds on all servers I tested, as well as distant servers.

First, I ran a speed check while not connected to a VPN server. To induce a baseline for my web association speeds:

I then used StrongVPN’s best available feature, which connects you to the fastest server compatible with your location – I was connected to a local server within the US. Here are my speeds:

Now here are my speeds once connected to a remote server within the UK:

My speeds were born at sixty-three and seventy-eight separately once connected to a local US server and many remote servers in Europe. This sounds like a lot, but my baseline speed was excellent, which could make speed drops look a lot worse than they are. specific speeds while connected to StrongVPN’s servers were still fine for loading websites and HD videos almost instantly, and I endured little to no lag or buffering while streaming or browsing the internet, even on the remote servers I tested.

Overall, StrongVPN’s server speeds are pretty good, even on distant servers.

StrongVPN Servers & IP Addresses

StrongVPN has more than 950 servers in more than 40 countries, which are spread equally around the world, as well as in the Middle East and Africa. However, many users around the world may not have access to a server in their country, which may cause them to experience slower speeds. Different major VPN providers have plenty of larger server networks: CyberGhost VPN has 7,700+ servers in 90+ countries and ExpressVPN has 3,000+ servers in 90+ countries.

I like that StrongVPN allows you to download torrents on all of their servers. Some VPNs like ProtonVPN and CyberGhostVPN only allow P2P sharing on dedicated “optimized” servers, however, these will fill up as a result.

Also, I like that StrongVPN has its SmartDNS servers (called StrongDNS). These servers allow you to access streaming sites and other geo-restricted websites with faster speeds than with a standard VPN partnership, connecting to the end servers without encrypting your traffic (which is what causes the slowdown).

Overall, StrongVPN’s server network is smaller than several different major VPNs, however, it is well distributed around the world, has its SmartDNS servers, and supports torrenting on each server.

StrongVPN Streaming & Torrenting

StrongVPN can be a good VPN for streaming – it works with major sites like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+, along with smaller sites like Peacock, Crunchyroll, and HBO goop. During my tests, it didn’t function with either BBC iPlayer or Amazon Prime.

If you’re looking for the most effective streaming VPN, I like to recommend ExpressVPN: It’s rated #1 on our list of the most effective VPNs for watching Netflix, works with 65+ streaming sites, has blazing-fast speeds on all servers, and it’s easy.

StrongVPN Streaming & Torrenting Review-Itis
StrongVPN Streaming & Torrenting

StrongVPN is good for torrenting. In addition to supporting P2P traffic on all of its servers, it works with all of the top torrent buyers like BitTorrent and Vuze.

However, there are still better VPNs for torrenting – my favorite is ExpressVPN because it allows you to download torrents from its 3,000+ servers in 90+ countries, has blazing-fast speeds, and its no-logs policy has been extensively verified multiple times.

Overall, StrongVPN can be a solid option for streaming content on most platforms, including Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+, and it supports P2P traffic on all of its servers. However, you can’t access Amazon Prime or BBC iPlayer.

StrongVPN Plans & Pricing

StrongVPN offers a monthly and yearly subscription plan, starting at $3.66/month. each plan allows up to twelve synchronous connections.

However, StrongVPN doesn’t offer the maximum value like other top VPNs like ExpressVPN, Personal Web Access, or ProtonVPN: they all come bundled with higher security features, provide lots of (or better) additional options, maintain faster speeds, and have faster networks. of larger servers that are deployed in many countries.

StrongVPN accepts payments with credit cards, PayPal and AliPay, however, it does not settle for cryptocurrencies. Additionally, but only for the annual plan, it provides a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Overall, StrongVPN doesn’t offer the maximum value like several top VPNs, but it’s still not a bad prospect due to its fast speeds and ability to access most major streaming sites like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+.

StrongVPN Ease of Use: Mobile & Desktop Apps

StrongVPN Ease of Use Mobile & Desktop Apps Review-Itis
StrongVPN Ease of Use Mobile & Desktop Apps

Additionally, it offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, but only for the yearly plan.
It’s terrifyingly fast and easy to align. I installed the StrongVPN app on my mechanical smartphone, iPhone, Windows 10 laptop, and MacBook Pro, and they all took just a minute or two to install.

StrongVPN’s desktop and mobile apps are terrifyingly intuitive and easy. I am in favor of SmartVPN incorporating a “Best Available” server feature, which allows you to automatically connect to the fastest access server (usually the one closest to you) with just 1 click. I also like how easy it is for StrongVPN to manually connect to a server – countries are listed in alphabetical order and there is a base bar. It affected me too, but I could only toggle the kill switch and connect in the launch options, along with dynamic protocols.

StrongVPN apps also come with the AN obfuscation feature, known as Scramble. However, unlike alternative VPNs, StrongVPN’s split tunneling feature is only accessible on its Mechanical Man app; This feature is not supported on Windows, macOS, or iOS. StrongVPN’s iOS app also does not support OpenVPN as a protocol.

Overall, StrongVPN has easy-to-use desktop and mobile apps, but they only keep up with basic VPN options. They are intuitive, easy to line up and use, and have fast and simple enrollment options. However, most of the major competitors like ExpressVPN and Private Web Access even have very intuitive apps, but they also keep each other company with a lot more options across platforms.

StrongVPN Customer Support

StrongVPN Customer Support Review-Itis
StrongVPN Customer Support

It has no-nonsense customer support: It offers helpful and responsive live chat and email support, along with cognitive content that has setup/troubleshooting guides and frequently asked questions (FAQs).

StrongVPN’s live chat is great. I found him helpful, responsive, and friendly. Live chat is initially a larva providing links to relevant articles, but it also instantly offers an option to connect with a support representative: the UN agency’s area unit is available 24/7. week. During my tests, I was connected to AN agents at a moment’s notice, and they were ready to respond quickly and extensively to any technical queries I had about the service.

StrongVPN also offers excellent email support through a web ticketing system. Every time I emailed StrongVPN, I got a response to my question within an hour (even outside of business hours), that’s spectacular. By comparison, alternative high VPNs like ExpressVPN and Personal Web Access typically take 3-5 hours to respond to email inquiries. Like the live chat, I found the email support groups to be helpful and thorough in their responses.

StrongVPN’s online support center is intensive and includes several helpful troubleshooting/setup guides, as well as FAQs, all of which answered most of my queries.

Overall, I was affected by StrongVPN’s customer support. is helpful and responsive email and live chat support, along with a detailed help center with troubleshooting guides and FAQs.

Is StrongVPN a Good VPN

StrongVPN is secure, fast, easy to use, and quite smart for streaming and internet browsing. Protect user information with industry-standard VPN security measures like 256-bit AES encryption, a kill switch, a strict no-logs policy, and DNS leak protection. It also comes with more options like split tunneling (only for mechanical users though) and SmartDNS servers.

StrongVPN will access streaming sites like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ (but not Amazon Prime or BBC iPlayer), allows P2P traffic on its 950+ servers and offers obfuscation.

However, StrongVPN does have some downsides that prevent it from being a top VPN. for example, it lacks advanced options like RAM-only servers and excellent forward secrecy, it’s a comparatively small server network, its no-logs policy hasn’t been audited, and it’s missing a few extras like a banner blocker and public Wi-Fi protections. -Fi.

StrongVPN allows up to twelve simultaneous connections, offers monthly and annual plans, and comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee on its annual plans.
