FUll VPNTunnel Review

I spent a couple of weeks testing VPNTunnel to figure out how it compares to high-end alternative VPNs on the market. Overall, it’s not a decent VPN, and I guess you’re much better off choosing a high-end VPN like ExpressVPN or Private Internet Access.

If you’re buying VPNTunnel, I recommend using it for basic internet browsing only and only with OpenVPN. Protocol (VPNTunnel leaks DNS data over L2TP/IPSec and PPTP).

I don’t like it either, but VPNTunnel offers slow speeds on all of their servers. And the way you can’t access Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime. To see if VPNTunnel prevents traffic leaks, while IPv6 and WebRTC passed without issue. My DNS traffic was leaked (ie my network service provider could see my browsing traffic).

VPNTunnel leaked my DNS data when using L2TP/IPSec and PPTP, but I experienced no DNS leaks with OpenVPN. That said, a good VPN should never leak your data, regardless of the protocol you use. Major providers like ExpressVPN offer complete leak protection across all of their protocols.

I ran speed tests on my Windows 10 computer. While connected to a server in 25+ countries where VPNTunnel spans a server to see my average VPN speeds.

First, I started my tests by running a speed test while not connected to VPNTunnel. To get a baseline for my native network speeds:
